Group Unveils Redevelopment Plans for Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH—The City of Myrtle Beach may completely change the landscape of the Withers Swash District.

Michael Guthrie of InForm studio, a city-hired architectural consultant, unveiled a proposal to re-construct the district. Watch the video for the Redevelopment Plans.

The project is just a concept being proposed to the city at this point, but if the project happens the way it’s being proposed, it would connect a 4.2 mile area in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Read more here>>


Withers Swash Plan Available for Review
The Withers Swash District Advisory Committee has released its conceptual master plan for the Withers Swash area.

The committee has worked for months to compile input from a variety of sources to come up with a plan for the long-term redevelopment and rejuvenation of the swash and the neighborhoods around it, including new and expanded parks, walking and biking trails, environmental clean-up, historic-home preservation and more.
